Effect of Environment on Health



Introduction

A large number of diseases are releted to environment like water, air, etc. 

Environment is classified as internal

And external environment. The internal environment consists of each and every componant of the body and their harmonious function. 

Environment has directe impact on health. The environmental factors which can effect health are water, air, light, sound, housing, animals, insect etc. It is known that industrial progress, modern agriculture methods and urbanization, etc.have lead to environment pollution. This inturn has an adverse effect on health. 

Water Pollution

Water pollution occurs when harmful substances often chemicals or microorganism contaminate a stream, river, lake, ocean, aquifer, or other body of water, degrading water quality and rendering it toxic to human or the environment. Water is uniquely vulnerable to pollution, known as a universal solvent water is able to dissolve more substances than my any other liquid on the earth. 

Important of Safe Drinking Water

 Water help to the body keep a normal temperature, lubricate and cushion joints, protect spinal cord and others sensitive tissues, get rid of wastes through urination, preparation, and bowel movement.
